It’s official! The brand new, Tin Whistle Method by Seán Gavin, is now available. After quite a lot of time, and effort, Seán is very pleased to have this hitting shelves at music stores around the world. It’s an introduction to the tin whistle and to Irish music. The book is a tutorial designed to bring a complete beginner to an intermediate level. There are about 20 tunes, starting with nursery rhymes all the way to reels, each one with unique lessons that can be applied to many other tunes. Also, accompanying the book is an audio recording available online. A huge thanks to Seán’s brother, Michael Gavin, without whom he could not have finished this project. Cheers, Mike!
