From Shore to Shore

From Shore to Shore is an exciting new tour series of ‘pure drop’ traditional Irish Music. Starting in the spring of 2022, Seán began a musical journey throughout the United States, performing concerts and lectures with some of the finest Irish musicians throughout the country. The aim of the project is to connect with others involved in preserving traditional music, and to bring their stories and music to a wider audience. As many of homes for traditional music have vanished or shifted to other genres, “From Shore to Shore” aims to provide an alternative platform for traditional music to thrive in the public eye. The goal is to provide listeners a glimpse behind the curtain, into the minds of traditional musicians, their musical process, and of course the great music that results. Guests so far have included the legendary Dublin fiddler, James Kelly, as well as Boston’s accordion maestro, Colm Gannon. Check the ‘schedule’ tab to see if there’s a tour happening near you!
